Growing Conditions
Benito Dusi Vineyard was the first of the Dusi Vineyards, it was planted by Sylvester Dusi in 1924. This historic Zinfandel vineyard resides in the Templeton Gap AVA. The vineyard is 100% head trained and dry farmed by five generations of the Dusi Family.
Palate
This Zinfandels’ vibrant berry color lures you in with sage, rose and pomegranate on the nose. Deep expressions of black cherry and sweet tobacco lead into hints of vanilla and pencil shavings on the mid-palate. The herbaceous finish of white pepper makes for a well rounded Zinfandel.
